80's Metal/Hard Rock Revisited
We were there...
Children of Metal is a powerhouse metal band, fusing the thunderous energy of ‘80s metal with a modern edge. Their explosive sound, influenced by legends like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Metallica, quickly earned them a devoted following. The band’s look and stage presence harken back to the iconic metal imagery of leather, spikes, and bold aesthetics, bringing a nostalgic yet fresh experience to audiences.
But Children of Metal is more than just a band—it’s a concept. At its core, this band is about life and death, about finding yourself again and again, about rebirth, and the love of life itself. The music is a celebration of raw emotion—rage, passion, euphoria, and the fire that fuels existence.
"We want people to party, to feel angry, to feel passion—to feel what it is to live and rejoice in that." Luckett (guitar)
From the very beginning, Children of Metal was meant to burn bright and burn fast. With a clear vision, the band will only release three albums—no more, no less. After that, the band will live on through select, unforgettable performances, but otherwise, Children of Metal, like everything, was born to die.
Their debut albums, Resurrection (2023) and Ascension to Chaos (2024), were both released on vinyl, signaling a deep respect for metal’s classic roots. These records dominated radio waves in Western Canada, quickly solidifying their reputation as a true metal force. Known for their massive, high-octane live performances, Children of Metal delivered unforgettable shows, including standout gigs at the Capitol Centre in North Bay. Sharing the stage with Canadian rock legends Trooper, they proved they were a band to be reckoned with—exploding onto the scene with undeniable power.
Now, as they prepare for their final and most ambitious album, Transcendence (2025), Children of Metal stand at the edge of their legacy. This last record is the culmination of everything—a testament to the fire of existence, a call to arms for those who refuse to fade quietly.
With relentless guitar-driven anthems, soaring vocals, and an unyielding connection to metal’s golden era, Children of Metal is a battle cry, a revelry, a force of nature.
"The spirit of heavy metal will never die—even if we do." -Elsey (vocals)
